Mani Of The Day + Soak Off Cotton Foil For Lazy A**es / Glitter Nail Polish Removal with Missha

Are you on your couch? Watching a crappy Tv Channel just because you cant find the remote control? Or spending the day in your comfy pajamas just because you dont need to go outside? You know, these kind of lazy attitudes? If your answer is “Yep, thats me.” This product may be your special game changer… on a minimal scale.

First of all, you should know that the easiest way to clean a glittery nail polish is wrapping the nails with aluminum foil, with  acetone soaked cottons inside. Its not so hard to prepare. Just some scissors, foil and cotton pads (balls). But when I saw this already-ready-to-use product with such a great price (~1$) at Missha, I knew I had to try it anyway.

There are 12 of them in the package. I dont know why. 2 for bloggers? Or some 12 fingered lucky nail artists I dont know yet?Anyway, These foils are pretty “ready”, except you need to pour acetone on the small cotton pads before wrapping them around.

I created this look with FlormarPerfect Mink (03) and Barielle Shades, Pink Diamond. I wore it for almost 3 days before I remove them with this method. I sponge dabbed the pink Barielle polish in order to achieve a fully opaque look. So it is a pretty challenging situation for the product!

As you can see foils are a little bit thicker than the typical kitchen foils. When I pulled off the foils, I found it pretty useful but I think I needed to apply more pressure while pulling it off. There were still some nail polish remains but it was still wet by the acetone. So I wiped it out easily with a couple moves.

It is an interesting and low priced product. So why not? It definitely worth it. I can hear the other secret lazy a** peoples amazed voices. You are completely free to write what do you think about this product. Or maybe you wont feel like it if you are lazy ?

Anyway , thank you for joining me on this almost-unnecessary journey!

See you soon!

Mani Of The Day, Pink Ombre Nails + Smashed Fairy Top Coat

Hello, is it me you’re looking for?🎶

Even if not, you should be! Because I got some pretty “pretty” nails here. Did you ever worked for an hour on your nail art and it turned out to be a mess made by a 3 year old? The color is not opaque or somehow it turned out to be different than your expectations? I am sharing every single nail artists (professionals or amateurs like me) Big Secret! Apply a shimmery, glittery top coat to fake it !

In this case I was ment to show you some of the perfectly opaque nail art line of Flormar. But I end up here, hiding mistakes and giving the community’s darkest secrets like a traitor. Psssst! Yes you can draw with acrylic paint on your nails, and act like you can draw perfect lines. Because it is possible to scratch the acrylic paint without harming the base+polish+clear top combo! Dont let other nail bloggers know I shared  this or I am dead.

So, I intended to make ombre nails alone. But I underestimated the opaqueness of the polish and ended up with over-high dark pink ombre. I applied a smashed-fairy-like polish on top, and the glossy top coat too.

This is the ombre process. You can see how the liquid latex of Missha becomes clear when it dries. Great news, it came in one piece.

These are the nail polishes I use in the process;

  • Flormar, Party Pop Full Color Nail Enamel / 03 Hulo Hoop
  • Flormar, Full Color Nail Enamel / FC39 Rooftop Part
  • Missha The Style, Crystal Nail Polish / K25M02

Wait ! I even made a complete look of this Dreamy Purple Glitter Polish. You will find a full coverage version of the polish in the link.

Aaaaand this is the unnecessary big crystal of mine… Because I am so fancy only a giant crystal could be a match. Of course not. I am just trying to get rid of my useless sewing crystals. This was not ment to be worn for a day outside. In fact, later that day I removed the crystal, fixed it with a patch and went for a dinner. But if you got small and thin crystals, you can wear them without worrying. Still, I recommend you to wear your crystals at home at least for a test drive. So you wont have to deal with sh*tty polishes in the middle of …. I dont know, modeling? Or changing diapers?

Anyway, I hope you like it. Thank you for visiting and please, feel free to contact for nail art requests or anything.

Mani Of The Day ; Sun Designs for a Sunny Day

Hello everyone! I had to do this simple but great look before the summer ends. I will often do nail designs which suits to summer till the first night with socks on!

So, an easy, shiny and seasonal nail design for anyone with a bobby pin and a toothpick. I used Flormar’s great nail polishes. They only need 1 coat to achieve an opaque look.

Of course I used my usual  Bump filling base coat and glossy top coat in the process. It was so shiny that I had a hard time capturing the orange sun on my ring finger. But be careful with the base coat I mentioned before. You need to apply a thin coat. Otherwise it will peel of piece by piece. And I recently started sealing the tips of my nails. I always thought that my nails are very thin to seal but I have to admit sealing really made a difference. The manicure you create will definitely last longer.

I hope you like it and thank you for stopping by!

Mani Of The Day / Rainbow Ombre with Liquid Latex

I am feeling like a fabulous parrot guys!

I got my Missha order this week and finally I got their new liquid latex product; Nail Helper. I didnt expect much because I watched a lot of unsuccessful liquid latex product reviews on Youtube. The cleanest results are usually achieved with Simply Peel by Bliss Kiss.  But this new Nail Helper is as good as the Bliss Kiss product.

I decided to go with the usual ombre theme, it is a great way to see if the liquid latex will peel by dabbing a sponge.

This is how you apply it. It becomes clear when it dries and it dries remarkably fast. The sweet light pink is easy on the eye.this liquid latex does not peel even when you dab a latex sponge! But it peels like butter when you pick it with an orange stick. It costs 2 $ on sale. And I am pretty sure this is the best deal you will across.

Look at those fancy color! They are  Flormar’s beautiful and extremely affordable nail polishes! I am soooo colorful!

I also used a quick dry top coat, plus another glossy top coat for that perfect shine!  You can read A Detailed Review Here.

Thanks for stopping by and keep in touch!

What You Should Spend Your Money On? / Nail Art & Nail Care Essentials / Spend Less For More

I am sure sometimes you just look at the screen and ask ; “How am I supposed to afford all that s*it you use?”. They use thousand products from thousand brands. Well, you are not alone my friend. I am currently living in Istanbul. 1 American Dollar is almost equal to 4 Turkish Liras. So when I buy a 20 Dollar item, it creates an 80 Turkish Liras hole in my wallet. And, International Shipping ( in this case shopping) Laws about liquids are very precise in Turkey. That means hell for a cosmetic blogger. Especially if you are a nail artist(ish). Almost everything is liquid. So usually I am not able to reach the products quickly (or never) when the brands relise them. Plus I cant try many boutique or small businesses because usually they dont even ship to my country. So if I put a product in my blog, believe me you can purchase it from almost all of the world.

I am personally interested in nail art and nail care since forever. Especially when I was still a nail biter. I am still struggling because after all these years, I am still picking my cuticles.

In my blog I use affordable brands almost always. Even for the essentials! It is all about research. I spend a lot of time discovering brands by google. I even send e-mails and ask for information if I need it. I learned from other blogs that people get paid to say nice things for products. Not reviews, paid good words! I want to say I am not getting paid from any of the brands I mentioned down below. If any brand pays me for something in the future it will be a review not a carnival of lies. These products are used and tested many time by me. I was using some of them even when I had no idea there are bloggers. So this is pure experience.

If you want your manicure to look professional, you need to own some basics. Its not always about abilities. The important thing is, you dont need to spend bags of money. It is 2017. Every country has its own brands on sale. It is important to find multiple items under one brands name. This way, you will pay less for more. All you need to do is research. In this post I am going to write about some affordable brands. Affordable and working as they supposed to be.

Currently I am using Sally Hansen, Burt’s Bees, Flormar and Missha. These four brands are all paraben-free. I know even the Sally Hansen and Burt’s Bees are pricey in some countries. But they are selling their products in stores almost everywhere. I use their products for Nail and Hand Care. You can check out my weekly nail care routine (what a cliche blogger!) Here. If it is pricey in your country and you think it is not worth it. You should check out Flormar and Missha.

Missha is a South Korean cosmetic brand. Their most strong line is Skin Care but, anything I bought from Missha, even a cotton ball or some nail sticker was amazing! You cant be sorry for purchasing from Missha. Usually their make-up and skin products are a bit pricey. But their Nail Products are very affordable. You can find every single essential item for nails. And they give free product samples with every purchase.

Here are some of the nail essentials I use,

  • The Style Lucid Nail Care, Pink Pearl Top Coat
  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Gel Top Coat

Shimmers are the magical work of Pink Pearl Top Coat. So beautiful it’s impossible to capture the real beauty of it. But the mirrory gloss? It is the Gel Top Coat. I cant let it go. One of the best I’ve ever used.

  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Quick Top Coat

You can see this great product in my every nail art post! When I tried this item first time, I used it after 6 coats of polishes. And I said “Meehh”. I cant believe myself! Be reasonable woman! But now I would use it as a wall paint dryer if they sell it in buckets. Thats how good it is.

  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Soft Matt Top Coat

I dont have many experience with Matt Top Coats but this will do the work. I made an egg test for you. You know, as in toothpaste commercials? Half of it is matt top coat and the other half is regular polish without top coats.

  • The Style Lucid Nail Care, Glitter-off  Coat
  • Self Nail SalonCare Look, Peel-off Base Coat

They are not glue based! Clear, quick drying bases. Peel-off named is the improved version of Glitter-off. But, in the brands website, they advise to use Glitter-off version if you want to keep the polish for a while.

You can see a Perfect Peel here.

  • Self Nail SalonCare Look, Nail Primer

If you got small bumps or lines like me, you will love this product. I cant even shower without it! It is literally a nail saver. I apply it before vacations so my preciousssssss nails will survive the hard conditions.

    • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Nail Helper

This is a light pink, liquid latex product. It becomes clear when its dry. And the most important thing is you can peel it one piece! You can even sponge dab and it wont peel unless you pick it. I definitely loved it!

I always buy these items when they are on sale. So they worth approximately 20 Dollars. And they are the bones of my blog and my daily manicure I use for outside of course. These items make everything so much easier and your hands will look professional.

Flormar is the most affordable brand mentioned in this post. They dont follow the trends quickly but this is originally a Nail Product Brand. So they got an incredibly wide section of colors, different nail polish lines for many purposes. Prices are between 50 cents to 3 Dollars. Nail Polishes are so good most of them are completely opaque in 1 coat! Thats something you cant see often. And thats how you own many, good quality color options. I use Flormar’s nail polishes almost for all my nail art posts. And good news everyone they sell almost all over the world online. They got great deals from time to time, such as “buy 3 polish, a bottle of acetone is 25 cents” or ” free shipping”.

I also purchase my nail art tools from Flormar. Reviewed them before. A complete pack is 4 Dollars. If you got this pack you can create designs more easily. You should be patient, once you start with small things your talent will multiply.

I am not sharing any link to those brands because it may change for every country. But you can google them and it will bring the ones that sells to your area usually on top of the results.

I hope you find this post helpfull. If you got any questions, post or nail art requests, please dont hesitate to contact.

Mani of the Day ; Missha / The Stlyle Lucid Nail Polish VL11

        Hey everyone !

You know I love Missha/ The Style nail products. Todays manicure includes a color between lilac and grey.

I loved the color and the heart shaped bottle. It is easy to apply but I still got lines on my damaged nails. So it needs 3 coats to be completely opac.

Not in My Blog! Aint nobody got time for that !

I used my The Style Peel-of-Base-Coat & Quick-Dry-Top-Coat for this look. They became essentials in my life.

Look at this cap ! So many colors because its holographic! Its not relevant to the polish itself but it looks great !

But, God I hated the smell of this lilac polish ! So strong and it doesnt dissappear.

Still, I think it looks good. What do you think? Is it worth the smell?
Oh the bumpy roads of beautyfying the dead ( but can still absorbe toxics!) parts of your body

See you soon on The Missha / Sunscreen review!

Nail Care Routine / Summer Damages Repaired

Nice to be here again ! This blog seriously started to grow on me. I actually need to write and share what I do daily. If you read my Summer&Nature Challenge post, you may have seen The Aftermath too.

So now I am back home and ready to take care of all! I am going to use this chance to show you my weekly routine.

        Here, all of my  products I currently use for my weekly, intense nail/hand care routine;

I usually do my nail care on Mondays because thats when the house is getting cleaned and we give a bath to our dog Toby. When its all done its my turn to do some magic !

        Cuticule Products I Use Currently
I usually start with Burt’s Bees / Lemon Butter Cuticule Cream.  As you can see it looks like a soft wax, and it smells like sweet lemons. Awesome! I usually rub it and use a silicone cuticule pusher or a wood orange stick to push my cuticules gently. I dont use metal tools because they may leave marks on the nail if I use too much force with them.

I am sure you are curious about why I didnt start with Sally Hansen / Instant Cuticule Remover. Because its basically damaging the fibers of nail while dissolving your cuticules! You should use it only for your stubborn cuticules. If my hand had a rough week such as too much water soaking or not using enough oil, I apply the Cuticule Remover. It is important you dont let it stay on your nails more than 2 minutes. You should wash it immediately.

The Tools I Use For Manicure
After my nails soak the Cuticule Cream. I file down but I never cut them ! Cutting your nails may cause sudden cracks! Really bad cracks.

Some people sacrifice all of their fingers when one of them is barely damaged. Not in my blog. We dont give up on our nails till its too late or almost impossible to rescue ! So I use the Cuticule Cream Before I file them. It reduces the damage on nail fibers  caused by the nail files. I filed some of the corners and little cracks I  told you about Here with Heartbrokin Photos before. Thank god they were not beyond repair.

That blue brush is mostly unnecessary. I use it when I have to file my nails too much. The nail dust piles up a lot like snow with a weird smell.

Than I wash my hands and I apply A lot of Sally Hansen Nail & Cuticule Oil. I apply it especially under my nails. My C curves are very strong and oil really helps a lot. I have been using this brands oil since 2 years. Not because its better than others. Simply because its easy to access in every pharmacie and make up store.

Some of you may remember my Long Search & Lost Hope Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Nail Oil  adventure.

Now I decided to make my own nail oil . I will write about it in the next weeks.

I let my nails and cuticules to absorbe the oil. Than I use this Mineral Salty Mani & Pedi Scrub. It is lemon based too. But it is a local product, so local even I am not able find it again yet. I scrub my nails, cuticules and my hands too. Rinse it with warm water beacuse its oily and your hand hands will remain oily if you use cold water.

After all my nails become soooo smooth! I use my Missha The Style Nail Primer currently. Before that I was using Sally Hansen‘s clear Miracle Grow product. I love it ! So shiny and it really works ! It doesnt make the nails hard and make them breakable. It lets them to bend instead of cracking ! But it peels of in a couple hours especially if your C curves are strong. Multiple layers applied on it makes it easier to peel with a small scratch.

Ps: I dont use acetone based polish removers because it makes my nails dry. This is one of Missha‘s nail polish removers without acetone. It works and smells good. But I buy my remover from almost any brand.

Except this Once a Week Treatement ; Once in a week I apply hand cream and put cotton gloves on my hands I sleep with them. It really helps the hands and cuticules.

I always use hand cream a couple times in a day. I use oil as much as I can too. Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream and Hand Salve are my purse products for everyday. Warning; Hand Salve includes menthole. The smell is very strong.

I apply the adorable one with the cow / Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Cream during my cotton gloves routine. It is heavy and almost heavy like frozen creamy milk and wax ! Like its promised ! I love Burt’s and Bees products !

What do you think about these products I use ? Do you have any recommendations for Nail Oil?

        Thanks for stopping by !

Nail Primer vs Nature Day 3

Hello everyone ! I really missed you because I lost a couple nails.

Its totally normal ! Im showing you these because we are all human and living is obviously more important than nails !

You may take care of them very good but they may break again

Those beauty gurus have  pimples too!

        Anyway my nails…

It is not going well ! Definetly not !

But it is not beyond repair. Today I was at mountains. Barbeque and sweet water of the waterfall and lake almost killed them !

        Ring finger nail

This nail was expected. It snapped right by its weak spot. My C curve is strong with this one. Thats why I usually lost these ones.

        Thumb Nail

Not the nail but my cuticules gone crazy on my thumbs !

        Solution; Oil! Oil! Oil!

        Ring Finger (The Other One)

Traitors ! Gonna file them to death when Im back ! I lost an actual slice of nail ! A thin piece just peeled of and I had to cut it .
        Thumb and index cuticule

Oh the horrible cuticule ! Almost meat !  I didnt bring any oil to a 0 degree waterfall that I m gonna go full Russian and swim in it !

Sooooo the damage is on the table !

Lets see whats it gonna be ! I still got 2 more days !

Missha Make-Up Review for Sensitive and B*tchy Ones !

Hello Friends united around veeeeery small details ☺️

As you may know I got my Missha Box today! I am still not over my returned Bliss Kiss order because of some “optional” laws about liquids entering the border.

I mentioned it already a hundred times but I got eczema. It effects my whole life since it is on my face. So it is really hard to find a good product which doesnt irritate my skin.

These products are a huge suprise because I was definetly not expecting this kind of high quality!

Missha skin products should be a Hype everywhere !

Missha / Signature BB Cake SPF 50/PA (No.13)
Missha / Signature BB Cake SPF 50/PA (No.13)

I loved the cover and everything about how it looks!

The elegant package definetly looks great in hand!

It doesnt include a mirror in it. Its a shame because the product is big enough to fit a perfectly wide and usefull mirror. Most refillable pallette products doesnt have a mirror in my country anyway.

Its a light, creamy formula with a great coverage. Seriously gooooood covarage !
Its just a BB Cream and it covers every scar, blemish and imperfection with a small amount. It doesnt get in the wrinkles! Doesnt get darker in time ! And hyrates as f….flowers💐

The puffy sponge they send it with is surprisingly usefull. I didnt want to ruin it with a brush because the texture is very soft. So I used this chic dark blue sponge.  It did the job.

After using it you can keep the sponge safe on the white cover of package.

        * I applied the amount you see above on the sponge on a scar I got. As you can see coverage is good ! It smells good but then it disappears. According to me its a good thing since its gonna be under my nose all the time Im wearing it. You should pick the lightest color even if you got a slightly yellowish or darkish green based tone. You dont need to be very white and pale to use this tone.

Coloring Multi Stick / Rosy Angel -PK02
Omg how can you not love this great package and design ! The applicateur brush is one of the smootest ones I see. Doesnt irritate a bit ! By the way this photo is very accurate as color. The product it self is exactly the same color as package.

Left side is blended with its own brush and right side is slided on skin. It give you an easy “building” and lets you create a couple shades of its own color easily.

You can see how good the BB Cream in this photo too.

Creamy and hyrating. You should always use creamy and hydrating products if you got dryness or eczema. It is hard to find a matching color if you got already red skin. But……

Missha got a wide section of colors for this product. You can find the perfect one !

This cinnamon stick is great ! Dont worry not the taste or smell. Just the color. Great nude comes in many shades. So many that there is no way you cant find your own water bottle for lips!

So hyrating it may be one of my “never let it go” s!🎖

Also this picture is a very realistic copy of the actual color shade. You can use different amounts for a couple shade of it.

This is how it looks like with 2 layers of the product. Its not sparkly as this picture. More of a natural tone. I loved it !

I am gonna post about Missha Sunscreen Products in a couple days. Me, husband and some of my friends are going to mount Ida which is in South and very hot during the season. So we will be sure if the products are working or not !

I am gonna throw myself under the sun for you !

No ! Dont ever do that it will create sun marks and the skin gets old quickly!
Ps: Should I write the prices of products I review? Since I use my countries own money it will not be exactly same.

I will be using one of the calculaters on the internet, it will be very close to exact numbers.

        See you soon ! 🦄

Missha Gem Stone Glitter and Peel-Off Base Coat Review

        Hello everbody !

Today I became a patient and sane person and actually wait enough time to let dry my Peel of Base Coat by Missha.

I used this chance to try my second Missha The Style Nail Polish Gem Stone No.2. Because its damn hard to remove glitter and sparkles with acetone.

Missha The Style, Gem Stone No.2 & Crystal NP Shocking Pop No.7-Purple

Its so beautiful ! Heart shaped bottle 💛 Aaaaaaand Giant Glitters !!! But it is actually smaller than the purple one.

Missha Crystal NP/ Shockin Pop Purple is a more glittery polish, with the tiniest glitters. Its multicolor and the cap is heart shaped  too. But this orange(ish) polish got the biggest mirror / glitter  particules I’ve ever seen. They  are completely different but I loved both.

I could’ve use the sponge dabbing technique but I couldnt use the Peel Off Base Coat since it would stick to the base and ruin it.

        This is how the polish look like after coat applied on Peel Off Base Coat;

Nail polish became a bit thick and wet after 3 coats. But I absolutely loved it ! If you apply a colored base under this Gem polish you can create a completely different design every time.

I can hear the drums of Peeling time! I used a Quick Dry Top Coat on it. Reasonable drying time for 4 coats under. I usually touch my nail with the tip of my tongue to see if its dry. It doesnt leave a scratch but dont try it too soon. Othervise you may end up licking wet squishy nail polish.

Finally ! I peeled it with an orange stick easily. It didnt leave any stain on my nails and peeled off in one whole piece. You can still recognise the C curve of my middle nail!

Its so satisfying isnt it? No acetone, no cotton balls! Great for nail art or tricky polishes like glitter.

Which one would you prefer? Orange mirrors or Purple smashed fairies ☺️

        Thanks for visiting me 🦄
