Are you on your couch? Watching a crappy Tv Channel just because you cant find the remote control? Or spending the day in your comfy pajamas just because you dont need to go outside? You know, these kind of lazy attitudes? If your answer is “Yep, thats me.” This product may be your special game changer… on a minimal scale.
First of all, you should know that the easiest way to clean a glittery nail polish is wrapping the nails with aluminum foil, with acetone soaked cottons inside. Its not so hard to prepare. Just some scissors, foil and cotton pads (balls). But when I saw this already-ready-to-use product with such a great price (~1$) at Missha, I knew I had to try it anyway.
There are 12 of them in the package. I dont know why. 2 for bloggers? Or some 12 fingered lucky nail artists I dont know yet?Anyway, These foils are pretty “ready”, except you need to pour acetone on the small cotton pads before wrapping them around.
I created this look with Flormar, Perfect Mink (03) and Barielle Shades, Pink Diamond. I wore it for almost 3 days before I remove them with this method. I sponge dabbed the pink Barielle polish in order to achieve a fully opaque look. So it is a pretty challenging situation for the product!
As you can see foils are a little bit thicker than the typical kitchen foils. When I pulled off the foils, I found it pretty useful but I think I needed to apply more pressure while pulling it off. There were still some nail polish remains but it was still wet by the acetone. So I wiped it out easily with a couple moves.
It is an interesting and low priced product. So why not? It definitely worth it. I can hear the other secret lazy a** peoples amazed voices. You are completely free to write what do you think about this product. Or maybe you wont feel like it if you are lazy ?
Anyway , thank you for joining me on this almost-unnecessary journey!
Even if not, you should be! Because I got some pretty “pretty” nails here. Did you ever worked for an hour on your nail art and it turned out to be a mess made by a 3 year old? The color is not opaque or somehow it turned out to be different than your expectations? I am sharing every single nail artists (professionals or amateurs like me) Big Secret! Apply a shimmery, glittery top coat to fake it !
In this case I was ment to show you some of the perfectly opaque nail art line of Flormar. But I end up here, hiding mistakes and giving the community’s darkest secrets like a traitor. Psssst! Yes you can draw with acrylic paint on your nails, and act like you can draw perfect lines. Because it is possible to scratch the acrylic paint without harming the base+polish+clear top combo! Dont let other nail bloggers know I shared this or I am dead.
So, I intended to make ombre nails alone. But I underestimated the opaqueness of the polish and ended up with over-high dark pink ombre. I applied a smashed-fairy-like polish on top, and the glossy top coat too.
This is the ombre process. You can see how the liquid latex of Missha becomesclear when it dries. Great news, it came in one piece.
These are the nail polishes I use in the process;
Flormar, Party Pop Full Color Nail Enamel / 03 Hulo Hoop
Flormar, Full Color Nail Enamel / FC39 Rooftop Part
Aaaaand this is the unnecessary big crystal of mine… Because I am so fancy only a giant crystal could be a match. Of course not. I am just trying to get rid of my useless sewing crystals. This was not ment to be worn for a day outside. In fact, later that day I removed the crystal, fixed it with a patch and went for a dinner. But if you got small and thin crystals, you can wear them without worrying. Still, I recommend you to wear your crystals at home at least for a test drive. So you wont have to deal with sh*tty polishes in the middle of …. I dont know, modeling? Or changing diapers?
Anyway, I hope you like it. Thank you for visiting and please, feel free to contact for nail art requests or anything.
Hello everyone! I had to do this simple but great look before the summer ends. I will often do nail designs which suits to summer till the first night with socks on!
So, an easy, shiny and seasonal nail design for anyone with a bobby pin and a toothpick. I used Flormar’s greatnailpolishes. They only need 1 coat to achieve an opaque look.
Of course I used my usual Bump filling base coat and glossy top coat in the process. It was so shiny that I had a hard time capturing the orange sun on my ring finger. But be careful with the base coat I mentioned before. You need to apply a thin coat. Otherwise it will peel of piece by piece. And I recently started sealing the tips of my nails. I always thought that my nails are very thin to seal but I have to admit sealing really made a difference. The manicure you create will definitely last longer.
I got my Missha order this week and finally I got their new liquid latex product; Nail Helper. I didnt expect much because I watched a lot of unsuccessful liquid latex product reviews on Youtube. The cleanest results are usually achieved with Simply Peel by Bliss Kiss. But this new Nail Helper is as good as the BlissKiss product.
I decided to go with the usual ombre theme, it is a great way to see if the liquid latex will peel by dabbing a sponge.
This is how you apply it. It becomes clear when it dries and it dries remarkably fast. The sweet light pink is easy on the eye.this liquid latex does not peel even when you dab a latex sponge! But it peels like butter when you pick it with an orange stick. It costs 2 $ on sale. And I am pretty sure this is the best deal you will across.
Look at those fancy color! They are Flormar’s beautiful and extremely affordable nail polishes! I am soooo colorful!
I also used a quick dry top coat, plus another glossy top coat for that perfect shine! You can read A Detailed Review Here.
Hi people! Yesterday I posted an easy, possible-at-home Minnie & Mickey Mouse Nail Art. It was not enough and I promised another piece of cake design! Hope you like it !
Dont worry if you cant make french manicure. There are multiple ways to achieve this look. You can use any sticky straight line sticker or you can fix it with a (in this case white) line as I do. These crystals are not designed for nails, thats why they are a little bit thick. Not gonna waste them anyway. But, if you dont have any crystals, simply put 2 white dots, or get creative and go wild with what you got at home.
Thanks for stopping by ! If you got any ideas please share!
Hello everyone! For todays manicure, I dived into the depths of Internet ( in this case pinterest & google images) and I brought together the most possible-at-home Minnie & Mickey Mouse Nail Art ideas around. There are so many of them, tomorrow I am going to do another version of this topic.
I hope you like it. If you try these at home please dont hesitate to send a photo of them to me !
As you can see everything except the bow is made of dots. I am not gonna lie, I tried that damn Mickey head 3 times. Still some of my white base is noticeable in that shimmery head. I used the Flormar, Glitter- Blackstar for the balck designs. Its is a gorgeous black shimmer. Any kind of basic red and white polish would work for the other colors. Of course you can choose any color as I picked a shimmery black. I had a red crystal already so I used it for some fancy sparkles.
You can see some shimmer here. I hope you find it possible and nice.
Thanks for stopping by! If you liked it dont forget to check here tomorrow because more Minnie & Mickey are pending!
I picked up my tiniest dotting tool and dragged the dots. It really needs patience but I managed to create the look.
Somehow I haven’t managed to take a cat-hairless photo yet.
I was so afraid to mess my thumb nail, I didnt even put a top coat on that specific nail. You can recognise the other nails are much more glossy. Thats why you need a good quality top coat. You can see what I use as Peel-off-base/ top/ base coats.
I hope you like this design! Thanks for stopping by for the shaky nail art! And feel free to make nail art requests.
Good news everyone ! I found a bottle of crystal in my sewing boxes. So todays manicure is very glamorous!
This is my first mani including those show off fancy crystals, so I kept it simple! I draw the edge lines of the design with the thin regular brush ( No.6) I Reviewed Earlier.
Then I carefully applied The Pink Nail Polish with its own applicator, without passing the lines I draw before.
I used a regular tweezers to put the crystals on place. It was a good fit as the size, but I am not sure whether it works or not on nailcrystals.
As you can see, these crystals are a little big thick. Thats because they are meant to be applied on fabrics. Since I hate crystals on my clothes I am not gonna waste it and use it on my nails cuz they look fabulous!
Did you applied your nail oil after my reminder earlier today? If not, you can apply it while you read my simple but lovely nail art with Flormar / Up To 7 Days, Shine & Color.
I bought this a while ago and forgot it. What a regret!
This is a 2 step product. But as some of you may know I’ve been using a Peel-off-base-Coat since I start blogging. Because too much acetone obviously damages my precioussss nailllssssss.
I applied 2 coats of Step 1 after my usual Peel-off-base-coat. This is the colored polish part of application.
Apply the Step 2. This bottle is some kind of thick, clear, gel top coat. Both polishes dries really fast. Approximately 3 minutes!
I use a thin brushes tip to paint the flowers.
Apply the same top coat. Not a different kind! I can feel its ingredients and textures are not the same as usual top coats so I wouldnt risk it.
This color is incredibly beautiful! It suits every season and shines bright like a diamond! I will definitely purchase other colors of this NO UV LAMP series.
But, I used a black shade of this product before I do this nail art / review and I can tell you there is no way it lasts Up to 7 Days. You can have 3 shiny un-chipped, perfectly-polished days. And they will look perfect for those 3 days.
I absolutely recommend this polish if you hate UV Lamps, and craving for that glossy, gel look !
And The Big Finally!
It peels so much better if you wait long enough between coats and after the top coat.
I used my thin brush and some toothpick to paint the dots, hearts and the bow.
And of course I apply A Peel-off-base-coat before I struggle to create this simple design. Sorry about the black polish on the edge of my thumb nail. I didnt see that until I appload it. I usually use a brush or toothpick for cleaning too!
I like to look at peeled polish. Because why not? But I should’ve wait more for a better quality peel-porn.
