Orange Glitter Nails, Just Because I Want To / Two Different Base Toned

Hello everyone !

I am not an exceptionally talented nail artist and apparently I have a limited imagination. I came to this conclusion because ı just wasted a perfectly fabulous Orange Glitter Nail Polish of Missha with just a simple design. I definitely love simple but elegant designs on nails but this is a nail blog I should have create something different and maybe revolutionary ?

Anyway  I did this manicure just because I like these colors so much. They suit well together. And I always wear nail polishes just to be safe. They keep my nails stronger but I also apply lots of nail oil even when I got nail polishes. Otherwise they just bend and break BECAUSE of the nail polish dehydrating with the time.

orangeglitter

I sponge dabbed the shimmery nail polish and applied it as a top coat itself. Then, I applied my final gel top coat from MISSHA. The orange glitter is from MISSHA and of course this beautiful green polish is from  Flormar.

According to me black is almost always better and its usually the most elegant choice to apply. There is approximately zero risk to fail with black !

Thanks for stopping by this basic nail art. Tell me which one do you prefer !

Missha White Nail Crystals on Flormar’s Holographic Black Nail Polish

Hi everyone ! I know I started to bore you all but I loved those feather light nail crystals of Missha so much I had to do a review for each color I got.

I promise this is the last of them ( for now), because I couldn’t find any other versions of it online. And I don’t know if they got any more of them ???

whitecrystal

I used one of those fabulous Holographic nail polishes of Flormar. It looks perfect. I like this color so much. I am definitely gonna buy other colors of it. And btw its not a secret Flormar is a low priced but high quality brand. Nail products are their specialty after all.

whitecrystal2

I want to warn you. This black holo nail polish looks a little bit dull when its completely dry. It gains a sandy texture. So I used my usual Gel Top Coat by Missha. I love this top coat its almost literally glassy. But I guess any top coat works well because there is no warning about mandatory top coat application .

Anyway, I hope you liked this series of Missha Nail Crystals. If I find any more of them, Trust me you will definitely know. Because I am a boring crystal lover nail blogger.

That’s all folks !

Do Almost Nothing / Great Illusions of Nail Painting

Today I broke my index finger nail. Thats why I decided to keep my nails polished all the time from now on.

So here is my “simplest” design. Actually Its not even a design. I just applied red polish and some shimmery gold glitter top coat ! And it looks fabulous !

The gold top coat hides the mistakes of the red polish. I was in a hurry when I was applying these polishes so I needed some sort of illusion .

My husband was around so I got his help to take some pictures of my both hands because as I said I lost a nail of my nail art hand ! So I wanted to show you my other secret hard working hand.

Ta Daaaaa!

redgold

I know my nails look like aliens side by side but hey ! this is my husbands first time taking his wife silly nail pictures ! Don’t discourage him !

I used “Flormar” s red and gold polishes. Its a world wide shipping Turkish brand ( found by Germany, bought by Turkey in the 80’s ) which is very low priced comparing to the quality of the products ! It is also paraben-free and formaldehyde-free.

redgold2

Here is a closer look. I am still having troubles with my nails. Because recently I got diagnosed with gluten intolerance. I am trying a complete new life style and constantly cooking and cleaning made my nails a little bit unhealthy, but I got hopes! They are growing very very fast but some of them keeps breaking .

But I am gonna keep posting with my other health nails !

Hope you like my “quick savior” of manicure solution!

Thank for stopping by !

Silver Black / Easy New Year & Christmas Nails V.4

Hello friends,

Yes its not over yet! I am afraid I am gonna keep posting festive nails till someone sends me a horses head as a threat in order to stop me.

But when its so easy to shine on a holiday , its hard to post  anything without glitter and shine.

So here is my easy nail design for holiday !

newyear

I applied one coat of regular black nail polish. And I used a matte top coat of MISSHA. Than, I made the dots with a gel top coat. Thats how I got this raindrop look. For the glitters I used a sponge to apply a regular glittery nail polish  (STARRY SKY)  of BARIELLE.

newyear2

Don’t apply any top coat or you will lose the appearance of raindrops . I used the same gel top coat to my ring finger which is completely glitter. I made the glittery look with sponge dabbing.

newyear3

I loved this simple but elegant look so much I posted every detail of it. I hope you like the hundred picture I show you.

Please don’t quit reading my blog just because this one “unnecessary amount of the same nails” situation .

Thanks for stopping by ! I hope you will come back !

Christmas Nails V.3 / Santa Wasn’t Wearing Red But It Looks Good On My Nails

Here it is ! My third post about Christmas + New Year.

I am not a Christian but Santa is in my culture too. Its not a religious thing but my country is believed to be the born place of  what we call Santa today. We call the pine trees “the tree of life” and we celebrate the longest night of the year and the first snow . The original Santa is a man who helps people in cold winters. Yes he was real.

Actual color of this shaman day is “white” but Coca Cola Company used red for its promotions and commercials a long time ago. And thats how we are brain washed about Santas colors are red and white. No, its plain white. With maybe some shaman accessories ?  If you don’t believe me you can check it on google !

But as a hypocrite , I like how the red looks on my nails. So I made this post with a red Santa and a weird Rudolph.I hope you like it !

santa

I liked how my Rudolph is a bit spooky , like he is not so happy  about carrying thousands  of gifts !? Who doesn’t like that ?!

I know my elf nail is not so magical too. But I am happy with all three of my Santas .

Even if they are not perfect. They definitely look perfect in a distance . And I am almost pretty sure no one is gonna realize my small mistakes at a party or dinner or else.

I hope you find it inspirational because I got inspired from many people on the internet. And they don’t even know about it.

Thanks for stopping by !

Christmas Nails V.2 / Cant Hold Myself

Why is it so fun to create Christmas designs on nails ? I can’t stop myself ! Its like play doh but I can actually do whatever I want.

I got a cheap and quality brand so I got all the colors I want. Thats what I want to repeat here again ; find a cheap brand which you can use for drawing and dotting designs on your nails. There are some colors we actually don’t use frequently but we need them for small details. This way you won’t have to buy expensive nail polishes for every single seasonal design. They all work fine with a good top coat. Yes, a good top coat is what you are gonna spend your Childs milk money. We can’t go cheap with that !

This is the second Christmas nails I did this week and oh boy… I got tons of ideas cuz you know… I got internet connection and can steal all those great ideas so I can ruin them in my own style.

rudolp

As you may realize I always use the dotting techniques ! I got the cheapest nail brush set ever made I am using every single possible device to create different sized dots. Even the scarf is made out of dots.

Plus, Buy glittery polishes ! This is the easiest way to save a shitty design and “mehhhh” colors.

rudolp2

A closer to my shiny fabulous work ! Which is not so perrrrfect because I got shaky hands like I am in an old shaky train station.

I am not a great designer or a nail artist or anything else , but I liked what I did.

I hope you like it too! Cuz this is not over my friend…

Mani Of The Day + Soak Off Cotton Foil For Lazy A**es / Glitter Nail Polish Removal with Missha

Are you on your couch? Watching a crappy Tv Channel just because you cant find the remote control? Or spending the day in your comfy pajamas just because you dont need to go outside? You know, these kind of lazy attitudes? If your answer is “Yep, thats me.” This product may be your special game changer… on a minimal scale.

First of all, you should know that the easiest way to clean a glittery nail polish is wrapping the nails with aluminum foil, with  acetone soaked cottons inside. Its not so hard to prepare. Just some scissors, foil and cotton pads (balls). But when I saw this already-ready-to-use product with such a great price (~1$) at Missha, I knew I had to try it anyway.

There are 12 of them in the package. I dont know why. 2 for bloggers? Or some 12 fingered lucky nail artists I dont know yet?Anyway, These foils are pretty “ready”, except you need to pour acetone on the small cotton pads before wrapping them around.

I created this look with FlormarPerfect Mink (03) and Barielle Shades, Pink Diamond. I wore it for almost 3 days before I remove them with this method. I sponge dabbed the pink Barielle polish in order to achieve a fully opaque look. So it is a pretty challenging situation for the product!

As you can see foils are a little bit thicker than the typical kitchen foils. When I pulled off the foils, I found it pretty useful but I think I needed to apply more pressure while pulling it off. There were still some nail polish remains but it was still wet by the acetone. So I wiped it out easily with a couple moves.

It is an interesting and low priced product. So why not? It definitely worth it. I can hear the other secret lazy a** peoples amazed voices. You are completely free to write what do you think about this product. Or maybe you wont feel like it if you are lazy ?

Anyway , thank you for joining me on this almost-unnecessary journey!

See you soon!

Barielle Shades, Dazzling Diamonds Nail Polish Review & Swatches

Hi everyone! I am back with the second set of  Barielle Shades series. And all I can say is these nail polishes are absolutely beyond my expectations. You see that print on the box? Fabulous Hues! Thats honestly not an exaggeration. I made a short research on google before I buy this selection, but I was not able to find a clear picture of the application. I know it is hard to capture Glitter and Shimmer. So I bought it online anyway. Because I like to live dangerously.

Left ===> Right

  • Stardust, 5237
  • Purple Hearts, 5243
  • Ebony Rainbow, 5242
  • Pink Diamond, 5238
  • Cherry Blossom Sparkler, 5239

  • Stardust;

This white, snowy polish would make a great top coat. But I wanted to show its original look in this post. It is more like a multicolored shimmer. I applied 2 coats on each nail of mine, except the ring finger nail. I dabbed the s*it out of it with a small make-up sponge. Of course I use Missha, The Style Nail Helper as liquid latex in order to simplify all those glittery mess.

  • Purple Hearts;

This is all purple glitter.  Multi sized glitter pieces combined with shimmer! It seems like I splashed some purple liquid metal on my nails. When I sponge dabbed e nail polish, I managed to achieve this half metallic, intense purple. I loved it! None of these include giant glitters except the purple one.

  • Ebony Rainbow;

Isnt it poetically convenient for Autumn? The green, bronze and a small amount of different colored shimmers. The full opaque look of the nail polish is bronze with green hints. This is an interesting color which you cant see everyday.

  • Pink Diamond;

The color is so elegant and easy to eye, I am pretty sure this is gonna be the first one I will drain! It is fully shimmer. And it was already half-opaque in 2 coats, but I still sponge dabbed it in order to reveal its true beauty.

  • Cherry Blossom Sparkler;

Well, thats a surprise. Every other nail polish in this set is clear based shimmer and glitter. But this is a jelly-like based shimmer polish. Its like strawberry jam on my nails! But the sponge dabbing killed it. Not in a good way. Some of  those shimmers are silver so it became silvery-opaque. I recommend applying 3 coats and voila! jelly nails !

*** When I found out these polishes are actually great in every possible way, I was also quite happy to find out I am not a stupid shopper. Because glitter is an obvious risk, which every sparkle-lover-human being is willing to take.
Like the “Diamonds Are Forever set, these nail polishes are good quality products. Easy to apply, great drying time and they look  surprisingly vivid.
This second Review of the brand Barielle turned out to be the beginning of my love for the brand!

Thanks for stopping by my page, I hope you liked it!

Barielle Shades, Diamonds Are Forever / Nail Polish Review & Swatches

Hello everyone! Joy of your nails is here!
I stumbled upon to a great deal on a small online beauty shop. I bought two of these Diamond Series of Barielle half of the original price. I have never tried Barielle’s nail polishes before. So I can tell its been a great surprise because they turned out to be extremely easy to apply, fast drying and fabulous!

Left ===> Right

  1. Out-Grey-Geous, 5082
  2. Coalest Day Of The Year, 5105
  3. Platimun Ring, 5220
  4. Sterling Silver, 5221
  5. Starry Sky, 5222

This is a pretty accurate photo of the package. The bundle includes 4 colored nail polishes and a clear + silver glitter nail polish. I applied the 5th polish of the serie as a top coat to make them more fabulous. But still, I needed to apply my Glossy-Top-Coat as a finishing touch.

  • Out-Grey-Geous ( 5082 )

This is an ice blueish, shade-likely color. In the first picture you can see the first coat application on a Peel-off-base-coat. It was still not completely opaque after 3 coats and I believe it is more than enough. This isnt a wall to paint furiously. Those are my preccciooussssssss… ehem ! Precious nails! I still liked the shady shade. Actually I think it is intended to be non-opaque. Because half of the pack is opaque and the other half is on a low saturation

  • Coalest Day Of The Year ( 5105 )

The black shimmer is something I cant resist. It is the savior of every occasion. Almost every black shimmery nail polish is incredibly easy to apply. It means no brush lines and it saves a huge time during a rush. I still had to apply 3 coats, this is the second shade-like shade of the box. But I loved it. When I applied the silver-glitter on this black / blue shimmer, the name of the polish literally popped out! Dont you think it looks like snowing in the middle of night?

  • Platimun Ring ( 5221 )

This silver, platin nail polish is completely opaque in 1 coat. It is so easy to apply I will almost call it chrome. I applied 2 coats because I still got a couple lines to hide on my nails ( permanent old nail biter damage remains ). I have to admit the silver-glitter polish is like a fairy godmother who makes everything fabulous she touched.

  • Sterling Silver ( 5221 )

Yes, this is the cold-hearted b*tches color. It seems….. intimidating? I dont know what the hell is it but I liked the slightly-impossible-to-describe color. It has kinda green or yellow pigments. It looks like oil but it is surprisingly opaque too. 2 coats of course.

Finally I applied them on each finger side by side for you to compare the colors easly;

I can definitely say I would buy more product from the brand Barielle. The quality of the products amazed me because you know, these colors are dangerous and hard to produce and apply as they should be. Barielle got a 10 points like Gryfindor!

I am so excited ( because I am a 5 year old), because I got another set of Barielle to review, and it will be on my blog in a couple days.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this post and I would like to hear from you!

Keep in touch,

Bisoux
