Mani Of The Day + Soak Off Cotton Foil For Lazy A**es / Glitter Nail Polish Removal with Missha

Are you on your couch? Watching a crappy Tv Channel just because you cant find the remote control? Or spending the day in your comfy pajamas just because you dont need to go outside? You know, these kind of lazy attitudes? If your answer is “Yep, thats me.” This product may be your special game changer… on a minimal scale.

First of all, you should know that the easiest way to clean a glittery nail polish is wrapping the nails with aluminum foil, with  acetone soaked cottons inside. Its not so hard to prepare. Just some scissors, foil and cotton pads (balls). But when I saw this already-ready-to-use product with such a great price (~1$) at Missha, I knew I had to try it anyway.

There are 12 of them in the package. I dont know why. 2 for bloggers? Or some 12 fingered lucky nail artists I dont know yet?Anyway, These foils are pretty “ready”, except you need to pour acetone on the small cotton pads before wrapping them around.

I created this look with FlormarPerfect Mink (03) and Barielle Shades, Pink Diamond. I wore it for almost 3 days before I remove them with this method. I sponge dabbed the pink Barielle polish in order to achieve a fully opaque look. So it is a pretty challenging situation for the product!

As you can see foils are a little bit thicker than the typical kitchen foils. When I pulled off the foils, I found it pretty useful but I think I needed to apply more pressure while pulling it off. There were still some nail polish remains but it was still wet by the acetone. So I wiped it out easily with a couple moves.

It is an interesting and low priced product. So why not? It definitely worth it. I can hear the other secret lazy a** peoples amazed voices. You are completely free to write what do you think about this product. Or maybe you wont feel like it if you are lazy ?

Anyway , thank you for joining me on this almost-unnecessary journey!

See you soon!

Barielle Shades, Dazzling Diamonds Nail Polish Review & Swatches

Hi everyone! I am back with the second set of  Barielle Shades series. And all I can say is these nail polishes are absolutely beyond my expectations. You see that print on the box? Fabulous Hues! Thats honestly not an exaggeration. I made a short research on google before I buy this selection, but I was not able to find a clear picture of the application. I know it is hard to capture Glitter and Shimmer. So I bought it online anyway. Because I like to live dangerously.

Left ===> Right

  • Stardust, 5237
  • Purple Hearts, 5243
  • Ebony Rainbow, 5242
  • Pink Diamond, 5238
  • Cherry Blossom Sparkler, 5239

  • Stardust;

This white, snowy polish would make a great top coat. But I wanted to show its original look in this post. It is more like a multicolored shimmer. I applied 2 coats on each nail of mine, except the ring finger nail. I dabbed the s*it out of it with a small make-up sponge. Of course I use Missha, The Style Nail Helper as liquid latex in order to simplify all those glittery mess.

  • Purple Hearts;

This is all purple glitter.  Multi sized glitter pieces combined with shimmer! It seems like I splashed some purple liquid metal on my nails. When I sponge dabbed e nail polish, I managed to achieve this half metallic, intense purple. I loved it! None of these include giant glitters except the purple one.

  • Ebony Rainbow;

Isnt it poetically convenient for Autumn? The green, bronze and a small amount of different colored shimmers. The full opaque look of the nail polish is bronze with green hints. This is an interesting color which you cant see everyday.

  • Pink Diamond;

The color is so elegant and easy to eye, I am pretty sure this is gonna be the first one I will drain! It is fully shimmer. And it was already half-opaque in 2 coats, but I still sponge dabbed it in order to reveal its true beauty.

  • Cherry Blossom Sparkler;

Well, thats a surprise. Every other nail polish in this set is clear based shimmer and glitter. But this is a jelly-like based shimmer polish. Its like strawberry jam on my nails! But the sponge dabbing killed it. Not in a good way. Some of  those shimmers are silver so it became silvery-opaque. I recommend applying 3 coats and voila! jelly nails !

*** When I found out these polishes are actually great in every possible way, I was also quite happy to find out I am not a stupid shopper. Because glitter is an obvious risk, which every sparkle-lover-human being is willing to take.
Like the “Diamonds Are Forever set, these nail polishes are good quality products. Easy to apply, great drying time and they look  surprisingly vivid.
This second Review of the brand Barielle turned out to be the beginning of my love for the brand!

Thanks for stopping by my page, I hope you liked it!

Barielle Shades, Diamonds Are Forever / Nail Polish Review & Swatches

Hello everyone! Joy of your nails is here!
I stumbled upon to a great deal on a small online beauty shop. I bought two of these Diamond Series of Barielle half of the original price. I have never tried Barielle’s nail polishes before. So I can tell its been a great surprise because they turned out to be extremely easy to apply, fast drying and fabulous!

Left ===> Right

  1. Out-Grey-Geous, 5082
  2. Coalest Day Of The Year, 5105
  3. Platimun Ring, 5220
  4. Sterling Silver, 5221
  5. Starry Sky, 5222

This is a pretty accurate photo of the package. The bundle includes 4 colored nail polishes and a clear + silver glitter nail polish. I applied the 5th polish of the serie as a top coat to make them more fabulous. But still, I needed to apply my Glossy-Top-Coat as a finishing touch.

  • Out-Grey-Geous ( 5082 )

This is an ice blueish, shade-likely color. In the first picture you can see the first coat application on a Peel-off-base-coat. It was still not completely opaque after 3 coats and I believe it is more than enough. This isnt a wall to paint furiously. Those are my preccciooussssssss… ehem ! Precious nails! I still liked the shady shade. Actually I think it is intended to be non-opaque. Because half of the pack is opaque and the other half is on a low saturation

  • Coalest Day Of The Year ( 5105 )

The black shimmer is something I cant resist. It is the savior of every occasion. Almost every black shimmery nail polish is incredibly easy to apply. It means no brush lines and it saves a huge time during a rush. I still had to apply 3 coats, this is the second shade-like shade of the box. But I loved it. When I applied the silver-glitter on this black / blue shimmer, the name of the polish literally popped out! Dont you think it looks like snowing in the middle of night?

  • Platimun Ring ( 5221 )

This silver, platin nail polish is completely opaque in 1 coat. It is so easy to apply I will almost call it chrome. I applied 2 coats because I still got a couple lines to hide on my nails ( permanent old nail biter damage remains ). I have to admit the silver-glitter polish is like a fairy godmother who makes everything fabulous she touched.

  • Sterling Silver ( 5221 )

Yes, this is the cold-hearted b*tches color. It seems….. intimidating? I dont know what the hell is it but I liked the slightly-impossible-to-describe color. It has kinda green or yellow pigments. It looks like oil but it is surprisingly opaque too. 2 coats of course.

Finally I applied them on each finger side by side for you to compare the colors easly;

I can definitely say I would buy more product from the brand Barielle. The quality of the products amazed me because you know, these colors are dangerous and hard to produce and apply as they should be. Barielle got a 10 points like Gryfindor!

I am so excited ( because I am a 5 year old), because I got another set of Barielle to review, and it will be on my blog in a couple days.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this post and I would like to hear from you!

Keep in touch,

Mani Of The Day, Pink Ombre Nails + Smashed Fairy Top Coat

Hello, is it me you’re looking for?🎶

Even if not, you should be! Because I got some pretty “pretty” nails here. Did you ever worked for an hour on your nail art and it turned out to be a mess made by a 3 year old? The color is not opaque or somehow it turned out to be different than your expectations? I am sharing every single nail artists (professionals or amateurs like me) Big Secret! Apply a shimmery, glittery top coat to fake it !

In this case I was ment to show you some of the perfectly opaque nail art line of Flormar. But I end up here, hiding mistakes and giving the community’s darkest secrets like a traitor. Psssst! Yes you can draw with acrylic paint on your nails, and act like you can draw perfect lines. Because it is possible to scratch the acrylic paint without harming the base+polish+clear top combo! Dont let other nail bloggers know I shared  this or I am dead.

So, I intended to make ombre nails alone. But I underestimated the opaqueness of the polish and ended up with over-high dark pink ombre. I applied a smashed-fairy-like polish on top, and the glossy top coat too.

This is the ombre process. You can see how the liquid latex of Missha becomes clear when it dries. Great news, it came in one piece.

These are the nail polishes I use in the process;

  • Flormar, Party Pop Full Color Nail Enamel / 03 Hulo Hoop
  • Flormar, Full Color Nail Enamel / FC39 Rooftop Part
  • Missha The Style, Crystal Nail Polish / K25M02

Wait ! I even made a complete look of this Dreamy Purple Glitter Polish. You will find a full coverage version of the polish in the link.

Aaaaand this is the unnecessary big crystal of mine… Because I am so fancy only a giant crystal could be a match. Of course not. I am just trying to get rid of my useless sewing crystals. This was not ment to be worn for a day outside. In fact, later that day I removed the crystal, fixed it with a patch and went for a dinner. But if you got small and thin crystals, you can wear them without worrying. Still, I recommend you to wear your crystals at home at least for a test drive. So you wont have to deal with sh*tty polishes in the middle of …. I dont know, modeling? Or changing diapers?

Anyway, I hope you like it. Thank you for visiting and please, feel free to contact for nail art requests or anything.

What You Should Spend Your Money On? / Nail Art & Nail Care Essentials / Spend Less For More

I am sure sometimes you just look at the screen and ask ; “How am I supposed to afford all that s*it you use?”. They use thousand products from thousand brands. Well, you are not alone my friend. I am currently living in Istanbul. 1 American Dollar is almost equal to 4 Turkish Liras. So when I buy a 20 Dollar item, it creates an 80 Turkish Liras hole in my wallet. And, International Shipping ( in this case shopping) Laws about liquids are very precise in Turkey. That means hell for a cosmetic blogger. Especially if you are a nail artist(ish). Almost everything is liquid. So usually I am not able to reach the products quickly (or never) when the brands relise them. Plus I cant try many boutique or small businesses because usually they dont even ship to my country. So if I put a product in my blog, believe me you can purchase it from almost all of the world.

I am personally interested in nail art and nail care since forever. Especially when I was still a nail biter. I am still struggling because after all these years, I am still picking my cuticles.

In my blog I use affordable brands almost always. Even for the essentials! It is all about research. I spend a lot of time discovering brands by google. I even send e-mails and ask for information if I need it. I learned from other blogs that people get paid to say nice things for products. Not reviews, paid good words! I want to say I am not getting paid from any of the brands I mentioned down below. If any brand pays me for something in the future it will be a review not a carnival of lies. These products are used and tested many time by me. I was using some of them even when I had no idea there are bloggers. So this is pure experience.

If you want your manicure to look professional, you need to own some basics. Its not always about abilities. The important thing is, you dont need to spend bags of money. It is 2017. Every country has its own brands on sale. It is important to find multiple items under one brands name. This way, you will pay less for more. All you need to do is research. In this post I am going to write about some affordable brands. Affordable and working as they supposed to be.

Currently I am using Sally Hansen, Burt’s Bees, Flormar and Missha. These four brands are all paraben-free. I know even the Sally Hansen and Burt’s Bees are pricey in some countries. But they are selling their products in stores almost everywhere. I use their products for Nail and Hand Care. You can check out my weekly nail care routine (what a cliche blogger!) Here. If it is pricey in your country and you think it is not worth it. You should check out Flormar and Missha.

Missha is a South Korean cosmetic brand. Their most strong line is Skin Care but, anything I bought from Missha, even a cotton ball or some nail sticker was amazing! You cant be sorry for purchasing from Missha. Usually their make-up and skin products are a bit pricey. But their Nail Products are very affordable. You can find every single essential item for nails. And they give free product samples with every purchase.

Here are some of the nail essentials I use,

  • The Style Lucid Nail Care, Pink Pearl Top Coat
  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Gel Top Coat

Shimmers are the magical work of Pink Pearl Top Coat. So beautiful it’s impossible to capture the real beauty of it. But the mirrory gloss? It is the Gel Top Coat. I cant let it go. One of the best I’ve ever used.

  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Quick Top Coat

You can see this great product in my every nail art post! When I tried this item first time, I used it after 6 coats of polishes. And I said “Meehh”. I cant believe myself! Be reasonable woman! But now I would use it as a wall paint dryer if they sell it in buckets. Thats how good it is.

  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Soft Matt Top Coat

I dont have many experience with Matt Top Coats but this will do the work. I made an egg test for you. You know, as in toothpaste commercials? Half of it is matt top coat and the other half is regular polish without top coats.

  • The Style Lucid Nail Care, Glitter-off  Coat
  • Self Nail SalonCare Look, Peel-off Base Coat

They are not glue based! Clear, quick drying bases. Peel-off named is the improved version of Glitter-off. But, in the brands website, they advise to use Glitter-off version if you want to keep the polish for a while.

You can see a Perfect Peel here.

  • Self Nail SalonCare Look, Nail Primer

If you got small bumps or lines like me, you will love this product. I cant even shower without it! It is literally a nail saver. I apply it before vacations so my preciousssssss nails will survive the hard conditions.

    • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Nail Helper

    This is a light pink, liquid latex product. It becomes clear when its dry. And the most important thing is you can peel it one piece! You can even sponge dab and it wont peel unless you pick it. I definitely loved it!

        I always buy these items when they are on sale. So they worth approximately 20 Dollars. And they are the bones of my blog and my daily manicure I use for outside of course. These items make everything so much easier and your hands will look professional.

        Flormar is the most affordable brand mentioned in this post. They dont follow the trends quickly but this is originally a Nail Product Brand. So they got an incredibly wide section of colors, different nail polish lines for many purposes. Prices are between 50 cents to 3 Dollars. Nail Polishes are so good most of them are completely opaque in 1 coat! Thats something you cant see often. And thats how you own many, good quality color options. I use Flormar’s nail polishes almost for all my nail art posts.And good news everyone they sell almost all over the world online. They got great deals from time to time, such as “buy 3 polish, a bottle of acetone is 25 cents” or ” free shipping”.

        I also purchase my nail art tools from Flormar. Reviewed them before. A complete pack is 4 Dollars. If you got this pack you can create designs more easily. You should be patient, once you start with small things your talent will multiply.

        I am not sharing any link to those brands because it may change for every country. But you can google them and it will bring the ones that sells to your area usually on top of the results.

        I hope you find this post helpfull. If you got any questions, post or nail art requests, please dont hesitate to contact.

        Mani Of The Day / Minnie & Mickey Mouse Nail Art Vol.2

        Hi people! Yesterday I posted an easy, possible-at-home Minnie & Mickey Mouse Nail Art. It was not enough and I promised another piece of cake design! Hope you like it !

        Dont worry if you cant make french manicure. There are multiple ways to achieve this look. You can use any sticky straight line sticker or you can fix it with a (in this case white) line as I do. These crystals are not designed for nails, thats why they are a little bit thick. Not gonna waste them anyway. But, if you dont have any crystals, simply put 2 white dots, or get creative and go wild with what you got at home.

        Thanks for stopping by ! If you got any ideas please share!
