Missha White Nail Crystals on Flormar’s Holographic Black Nail Polish

Hi everyone ! I know I started to bore you all but I loved those feather light nail crystals of Missha so much I had to do a review for each color I got.

I promise this is the last of them ( for now), because I couldn’t find any other versions of it online. And I don’t know if they got any more of them ???

whitecrystal

I used one of those fabulous Holographic nail polishes of Flormar. It looks perfect. I like this color so much. I am definitely gonna buy other colors of it. And btw its not a secret Flormar is a low priced but high quality brand. Nail products are their specialty after all.

whitecrystal2

I want to warn you. This black holo nail polish looks a little bit dull when its completely dry. It gains a sandy texture. So I used my usual Gel Top Coat by Missha. I love this top coat its almost literally glassy. But I guess any top coat works well because there is no warning about mandatory top coat application .

Anyway, I hope you liked this series of Missha Nail Crystals. If I find any more of them, Trust me you will definitely know. Because I am a boring crystal lover nail blogger.

That’s all folks !

Missha Blue Nail Crystals Review , Ribbon Blue Nails

Hello ! I warned you before ! Yes I am going to do another crystal nail review!

Mishha got 2 different versions of these crystals and I tried the pink version before. I loved them. Easy to pick up with a toothpick and light as snow. It is also low priced too.

How can I not love them ?

blueribbon

I apply my usual base coat from Missha Because I am intending to keep this mani for a couple days.My top coat is Missha Gel Top Coat. I like how its easy to apply and shines perfectly.

blueribbon2

It really reflects the light good. Unfortunately I am not so good with capturing the light. Still the beautiful BLUE RIBBON of the brand FLORMAR saved the day and my mani. It helps the crystals about looking smooth and sharp at the same time. These colors are easy on the eye. And I feel calmed just by looking my nails.

blueribbon3

I tried to take pictures under multiple lightenings. I hope you will like it as much as I do. Cuz I think this color really made the crystals pop up !

blueribbon4

I almost forgot to post this pic with the package of the crystals !

If you liked this look you may liked the pink crystals version of it too !

Pink Nails with Missha Nail Crystals & Review with my own money

Hello people ! I hope you all had a good holiday and I wish you all a happy new year.

I don’t have a theme because Christmas and New Year Themes are gone for a year. And I don’t have any more of them untill Valentines Day.

But I can always use pink ! Ohhhh and I already got those crystals of MISSHA I am willing to try . This is gonna be awesome !

crystalmissha

The Crystals are very light so I picked them up with the pointy side of an orange stick. You can use a toothpick as well. They are so small but it is convenient because my nails are not a canvas as much as I wish.

crystalmissha2

I used BARIELLE’ s one of nails polishes as a top coat with shimmer. I used Flormar’s ROOFTOP polish as base. And of course Missha’s Gel Top Coat as a final touch and a perfect shine.

crystalmissha3

It was very easy to work with. I loved these crystals. I got another set of them in color blue. Maybe I will make another version of it.

crystalmissha4

Here it is under two different light. But I can say it looks more likely on the right .

Thank you for stopping by my blog !

Feel free to contact about requests or brutal criticism .

Liquid Palisade for French Manicure or Whatever / For super steady hands (probably aliens).

Hello everyone!

I had to take a mandatory break from blogging in order to do my job. I also had to cut my beautiful nails because I had to use my keyboard so much. I made one last post before I filed them down. So this is going to be my last post with long nails for a while. But this is a great opportunity to show you how I keep my nails healthy and how to grow them ! My next post is going to include the first week of regrowing my nails. So please enjoy my longest nails of my own personal history.

I recently bought this liquid latex (or palisade as they call it). But this was something different. It is a liquid latex for French manicure and for thin-brush-needed designs.

IMG_1800

It comes in a tiny bottle. Which I think its a little bit unfair. But I got their motivation in a couple minutes; this thing dries so fast I am not even sure I will find it in a “liquid”  form after a week. The brush is fairly usefull for its purpose. You can see the beautiful lilac color. It looks like a thin liquid in this picture but It is getting lumpy in seconds.

liquidlatexfrench

I used my Poshé Super Fast Drying Top Coat for this whole process. Because I don’t need any more surprises and this product is like a glass coat for all the polishes under it. I applied the Poshé top coat and I gave the Liquid Palisade its first shot.

As you can see the lilac color turns into a pastel, see-through, dead pink when it dries.

frenchpallisade

Now there is a big failure here ! My hands are already as shaky as an old woman who was drunk most of her life. I believe its an ancient curse on my family like;  ” let them shake but give them a hobby which they need to have steady hands”. Warning ! This product works only if you got rock-steady hands. So whats the point of buying this thing if I can already draw perfect lines?

liqpal

Here is another weird but kinda cute shapes??? But the Poshé top coat works perfectly good and shines bright like a diamond .

paliliq

So I decided to do some wavy lines, a French line and another black-nude arrow . I got a lucky moment and drew the French line perrrrffeect! But honestly I don’t believe its gonna happen again . And the black design was completely ruined on my first try. I had to work fast but still f.ked it up.

liqpali2

OH, THIS HORRIBLE BLOODY LOOK.

Ok, I am admitting  this was all on me. I was so bored and frustrated with this clumpy product I made some “red” mistakes. Give me a break ! We all know its an ugly job to clean red nail polish when you are already bored and tired.

Finally, I don’t think this product is necessary but If you want to try something different you may give it a chance. Only because it has a thin and actually working brush which is not very common in the world of liquid latex.

I hope you enjoyed my post! Please don’t hesitate to contact, comment or any kind of ruthless criticism=)

Mani Of The Day + Soak Off Cotton Foil For Lazy A**es / Glitter Nail Polish Removal with Missha

Are you on your couch? Watching a crappy Tv Channel just because you cant find the remote control? Or spending the day in your comfy pajamas just because you dont need to go outside? You know, these kind of lazy attitudes? If your answer is “Yep, thats me.” This product may be your special game changer… on a minimal scale.

First of all, you should know that the easiest way to clean a glittery nail polish is wrapping the nails with aluminum foil, with  acetone soaked cottons inside. Its not so hard to prepare. Just some scissors, foil and cotton pads (balls). But when I saw this already-ready-to-use product with such a great price (~1$) at Missha, I knew I had to try it anyway.

There are 12 of them in the package. I dont know why. 2 for bloggers? Or some 12 fingered lucky nail artists I dont know yet?Anyway, These foils are pretty “ready”, except you need to pour acetone on the small cotton pads before wrapping them around.

I created this look with FlormarPerfect Mink (03) and Barielle Shades, Pink Diamond. I wore it for almost 3 days before I remove them with this method. I sponge dabbed the pink Barielle polish in order to achieve a fully opaque look. So it is a pretty challenging situation for the product!

As you can see foils are a little bit thicker than the typical kitchen foils. When I pulled off the foils, I found it pretty useful but I think I needed to apply more pressure while pulling it off. There were still some nail polish remains but it was still wet by the acetone. So I wiped it out easily with a couple moves.

It is an interesting and low priced product. So why not? It definitely worth it. I can hear the other secret lazy a** peoples amazed voices. You are completely free to write what do you think about this product. Or maybe you wont feel like it if you are lazy ?

Anyway , thank you for joining me on this almost-unnecessary journey!

See you soon!

Barielle Shades, Dazzling Diamonds Nail Polish Review & Swatches

Hi everyone! I am back with the second set of  Barielle Shades series. And all I can say is these nail polishes are absolutely beyond my expectations. You see that print on the box? Fabulous Hues! Thats honestly not an exaggeration. I made a short research on google before I buy this selection, but I was not able to find a clear picture of the application. I know it is hard to capture Glitter and Shimmer. So I bought it online anyway. Because I like to live dangerously.

Left ===> Right

  • Stardust, 5237
  • Purple Hearts, 5243
  • Ebony Rainbow, 5242
  • Pink Diamond, 5238
  • Cherry Blossom Sparkler, 5239

  • Stardust;

This white, snowy polish would make a great top coat. But I wanted to show its original look in this post. It is more like a multicolored shimmer. I applied 2 coats on each nail of mine, except the ring finger nail. I dabbed the s*it out of it with a small make-up sponge. Of course I use Missha, The Style Nail Helper as liquid latex in order to simplify all those glittery mess.

  • Purple Hearts;

This is all purple glitter.  Multi sized glitter pieces combined with shimmer! It seems like I splashed some purple liquid metal on my nails. When I sponge dabbed e nail polish, I managed to achieve this half metallic, intense purple. I loved it! None of these include giant glitters except the purple one.

  • Ebony Rainbow;

Isnt it poetically convenient for Autumn? The green, bronze and a small amount of different colored shimmers. The full opaque look of the nail polish is bronze with green hints. This is an interesting color which you cant see everyday.

  • Pink Diamond;

The color is so elegant and easy to eye, I am pretty sure this is gonna be the first one I will drain! It is fully shimmer. And it was already half-opaque in 2 coats, but I still sponge dabbed it in order to reveal its true beauty.

  • Cherry Blossom Sparkler;

Well, thats a surprise. Every other nail polish in this set is clear based shimmer and glitter. But this is a jelly-like based shimmer polish. Its like strawberry jam on my nails! But the sponge dabbing killed it. Not in a good way. Some of  those shimmers are silver so it became silvery-opaque. I recommend applying 3 coats and voila! jelly nails !

*** When I found out these polishes are actually great in every possible way, I was also quite happy to find out I am not a stupid shopper. Because glitter is an obvious risk, which every sparkle-lover-human being is willing to take.
Like the “Diamonds Are Forever set, these nail polishes are good quality products. Easy to apply, great drying time and they look  surprisingly vivid.
This second Review of the brand Barielle turned out to be the beginning of my love for the brand!

Thanks for stopping by my page, I hope you liked it!

Mani Of The Day / Rainbow Ombre with Liquid Latex

I am feeling like a fabulous parrot guys!

I got my Missha order this week and finally I got their new liquid latex product; Nail Helper. I didnt expect much because I watched a lot of unsuccessful liquid latex product reviews on Youtube. The cleanest results are usually achieved with Simply Peel by Bliss Kiss.  But this new Nail Helper is as good as the Bliss Kiss product.

I decided to go with the usual ombre theme, it is a great way to see if the liquid latex will peel by dabbing a sponge.

This is how you apply it. It becomes clear when it dries and it dries remarkably fast. The sweet light pink is easy on the eye.this liquid latex does not peel even when you dab a latex sponge! But it peels like butter when you pick it with an orange stick. It costs 2 $ on sale. And I am pretty sure this is the best deal you will across.

Look at those fancy color! They are  Flormar’s beautiful and extremely affordable nail polishes! I am soooo colorful!

I also used a quick dry top coat, plus another glossy top coat for that perfect shine!  You can read A Detailed Review Here.

Thanks for stopping by and keep in touch!

What You Should Spend Your Money On? / Nail Art & Nail Care Essentials / Spend Less For More

I am sure sometimes you just look at the screen and ask ; “How am I supposed to afford all that s*it you use?”. They use thousand products from thousand brands. Well, you are not alone my friend. I am currently living in Istanbul. 1 American Dollar is almost equal to 4 Turkish Liras. So when I buy a 20 Dollar item, it creates an 80 Turkish Liras hole in my wallet. And, International Shipping ( in this case shopping) Laws about liquids are very precise in Turkey. That means hell for a cosmetic blogger. Especially if you are a nail artist(ish). Almost everything is liquid. So usually I am not able to reach the products quickly (or never) when the brands relise them. Plus I cant try many boutique or small businesses because usually they dont even ship to my country. So if I put a product in my blog, believe me you can purchase it from almost all of the world.

I am personally interested in nail art and nail care since forever. Especially when I was still a nail biter. I am still struggling because after all these years, I am still picking my cuticles.

In my blog I use affordable brands almost always. Even for the essentials! It is all about research. I spend a lot of time discovering brands by google. I even send e-mails and ask for information if I need it. I learned from other blogs that people get paid to say nice things for products. Not reviews, paid good words! I want to say I am not getting paid from any of the brands I mentioned down below. If any brand pays me for something in the future it will be a review not a carnival of lies. These products are used and tested many time by me. I was using some of them even when I had no idea there are bloggers. So this is pure experience.

If you want your manicure to look professional, you need to own some basics. Its not always about abilities. The important thing is, you dont need to spend bags of money. It is 2017. Every country has its own brands on sale. It is important to find multiple items under one brands name. This way, you will pay less for more. All you need to do is research. In this post I am going to write about some affordable brands. Affordable and working as they supposed to be.

Currently I am using Sally Hansen, Burt’s Bees, Flormar and Missha. These four brands are all paraben-free. I know even the Sally Hansen and Burt’s Bees are pricey in some countries. But they are selling their products in stores almost everywhere. I use their products for Nail and Hand Care. You can check out my weekly nail care routine (what a cliche blogger!) Here. If it is pricey in your country and you think it is not worth it. You should check out Flormar and Missha.

Missha is a South Korean cosmetic brand. Their most strong line is Skin Care but, anything I bought from Missha, even a cotton ball or some nail sticker was amazing! You cant be sorry for purchasing from Missha. Usually their make-up and skin products are a bit pricey. But their Nail Products are very affordable. You can find every single essential item for nails. And they give free product samples with every purchase.

Here are some of the nail essentials I use,

  • The Style Lucid Nail Care, Pink Pearl Top Coat
  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Gel Top Coat

Shimmers are the magical work of Pink Pearl Top Coat. So beautiful it’s impossible to capture the real beauty of it. But the mirrory gloss? It is the Gel Top Coat. I cant let it go. One of the best I’ve ever used.

  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Quick Top Coat

You can see this great product in my every nail art post! When I tried this item first time, I used it after 6 coats of polishes. And I said “Meehh”. I cant believe myself! Be reasonable woman! But now I would use it as a wall paint dryer if they sell it in buckets. Thats how good it is.

  • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Soft Matt Top Coat

I dont have many experience with Matt Top Coats but this will do the work. I made an egg test for you. You know, as in toothpaste commercials? Half of it is matt top coat and the other half is regular polish without top coats.

  • The Style Lucid Nail Care, Glitter-off  Coat
  • Self Nail SalonCare Look, Peel-off Base Coat

They are not glue based! Clear, quick drying bases. Peel-off named is the improved version of Glitter-off. But, in the brands website, they advise to use Glitter-off version if you want to keep the polish for a while.

You can see a Perfect Peel here.

  • Self Nail SalonCare Look, Nail Primer

If you got small bumps or lines like me, you will love this product. I cant even shower without it! It is literally a nail saver. I apply it before vacations so my preciousssssss nails will survive the hard conditions.

    • Self Nail Salon – Care Look, Nail Helper

This is a light pink, liquid latex product. It becomes clear when its dry. And the most important thing is you can peel it one piece! You can even sponge dab and it wont peel unless you pick it. I definitely loved it!

I always buy these items when they are on sale. So they worth approximately 20 Dollars. And they are the bones of my blog and my daily manicure I use for outside of course. These items make everything so much easier and your hands will look professional.

Flormar is the most affordable brand mentioned in this post. They dont follow the trends quickly but this is originally a Nail Product Brand. So they got an incredibly wide section of colors, different nail polish lines for many purposes. Prices are between 50 cents to 3 Dollars. Nail Polishes are so good most of them are completely opaque in 1 coat! Thats something you cant see often. And thats how you own many, good quality color options. I use Flormar’s nail polishes almost for all my nail art posts. And good news everyone they sell almost all over the world online. They got great deals from time to time, such as “buy 3 polish, a bottle of acetone is 25 cents” or ” free shipping”.

I also purchase my nail art tools from Flormar. Reviewed them before. A complete pack is 4 Dollars. If you got this pack you can create designs more easily. You should be patient, once you start with small things your talent will multiply.

I am not sharing any link to those brands because it may change for every country. But you can google them and it will bring the ones that sells to your area usually on top of the results.

I hope you find this post helpfull. If you got any questions, post or nail art requests, please dont hesitate to contact.

Flormar Glitter & Shimmer Nail Polish / Fancy as F! Swatches

Hello my fabulous readers! As you may have been notice, I was gone for a while but I came back with a great nail polish stock and many ideas ! But today I am going to show off my all fancy side.

I recently discovered a Turkish brand Flormar. It is the most used common brand in nail salons here. I just never knew they produce more than basics. I also reviewed and loved Flormar Nail Art Tools too.

I got 3 glitter / shimmer nail polishes fancy as hell and I am not afraid to show my womanhood!

        Flormar Glitter / Blackstar – GL 10
No way! They produce great shimmer and they call it Glitter! This should be a crime. But I forgive them because this shimmers are also holographic! Top photo is the first coat of it and the rest is 2 coated. I want to show it under multiple lightenings but the dominant look is represented in the bigger photo.

        Flormar Glitter / Multicolor Shine – GL9

Thats actual glitter plus blue shimmers. I applied white and black base coats. You can also see how it does not cover well on my naked nails.

These nebula colors… I fell in love with them on the first sight but the sticky formula made it impossible to apply multiple coats. You have to use the sponge dabbing technique if you want full coverage . Actually. all glitter included polishes have to be applied with a sponge. I will make a post  about it asap.

Flormar Up To 7 Days Shine & Color / Glamorous Gold DP01

I saved the best for a glorious final. This is a different line of polish from the same brand. I wish I had multiple versions of this. In my opinion it looks better then reel gold. Best part is , it includes glitter and shimmer together. This polish creates a fairy fleaky look which I will use very often, obviously.

Even the bottle looks like a potion stolen from a fairy tale. You know what? I suddenly felt richer.

Can you believe I only applied 2 thin coats. I didnt even bother to pick glitters with my brush. On my index finger nail I didnt use a base coat so you can see how efficient the nail polish is. This is definitely my favorite.

You can shop internationally from the brands website ; http://www.flormar.com

The brand does not sponsor me. I strongly recommend this brand with my own free will. They dont use toxic products such as paraben and versions of it. Their prices are incredibly low compared to the product quality. Actually the prices are madly low. Because you see 1 American Dollar worths approximately 3,5 Turkish Liras. And this is a Turkish brand ( started as a German brand, bought by a company from Turkey in 80’s).

What do you think about these nail polishes ? Which one is your favorite ? Tell me about it so I can decide what I am going to purchase and review next!

Thank you for stopping by ! I will be posting 3-4 times in a week like I used to, so keep in touch if you got any questions or nail art/ product review requests.

Flormar Nail Art Tool & Brush Review and Some Mess I Made

Hello good people out there! I know you are good because I am sure you are gonna forgive my so called “nail art”.

I bought a Nail Art Tool Kit from Flormar. It is a non toxic good brand which specializes on nail products. They also produce make up products lately but I didnt try them yet. But every single nail salon in my country uses this brand if the salon is not a luxury one.

        1. The game changer cleaner. It is an angled brush which is very effective on cleaning nail polish remains from cuticules! Sorry I missed the middle finger.
        2. The small dotting tool. This is an essential item for nai art. Sure you can use a bobby pin but it is very affordable, easy to clean and you can manage painting small detail with this tool. I used this to create the flowers on my middle and pinky nails.
        3. A line brush.  Consumers are supposed to use this for long lines but I didnt like it. It doesnt hold the polish well and it is not easy to control the movement of this thin, long brush. The lines one my middle and pinky nails are made with this item.
        4. This is a fan brush. It is meant to be used for shimmer, glitter and powder products. But as you can see on my thumb nail. I used it to create a double sided design.
        5. I dont know what this is called but this brush is perfect for creating a texture by stamping it on the nail. I dont use the tip of course for this sort of effects, I use its side by pressing it. You can see the texture on my index and ring nail. I made some ugly pedals I guess.
        6. A simple thin brush to draw anything! I loved it! I used it to paint the white parts of the pedal on my ring finger nail. It created a more dimensioned flower.

This is my second attempt with the tools. I tried to create a painting here. Each nail is a part of a single image. I promise I will develop my skills and sorry about some messes I made.

Oooh! I can still see the little house and the clouds! It is not a perfect peel because the white polish I use as the base, is not a good quality product.

And additionally I wanted to share the napkin I used during the creation of this nail art. I dont know I just liked it!

          Thanks for reading me!

Dont be shy, contact me! Make a request or write just to be friends!

          Bisoux!
